Rehydrating in Whakapapa Village
A very important photo was left out of our Tongariro post, which must be shared. After finishing our 4 day hike and enjoying a lovely tea time at the Chateau, we made our way to the town tavern for a scenic beer and wine. Looking out over Mt. Ngauruhoe, the volcano we had circumnavigated, we had a lovely evening playing cards and tasting a couple NZ beverages.
I love the reflection in the wine glass. That’s a classic. It’s so nice to hear of your travels. Love, Gwen
